Art all started for me with horses. When I was a kid, drawing horses was literally all I did.
Still to this day,it just comes natural.
I love to see them move.

I am so lucky in my life to have always had ranchers as part of it.
My great-grandfathers was a rancher in South Texas.
We grew up helping 'cowboy' on a ranch south of Socorro.
And my sister now lives on one of the oldest working cattle ranches in the SW, The Bell. It's historic. Fortunately, that means I get plenty of opportunity for good reference photos and a look into this amazing country way of life.
